Wow...Arsenal is now out from the FA Cup competition. Very disappointing indeed. Against a small team like Blackburn, the team should be able to kill the game by scoring goals but it seemed that they under estimated the Rovers entirely. Fancy football and keeping the ball for most of the time will be meaningless if the team still fails to have good finishing and create more goals.
FA Cup is as important as other cups. It should be seen that way and Arsenal should be able to give their best to it unless they are confident that they could win the Champions League (but by looking at the team's performance, I don't think so). From the game, we could see that there was genuine lack of urgency to win the game and it was shown especially during the 1st half of the game.
Arsenal's have been poor this season. The lessons of the Bradford game were not learned by both Arsenal and Wenger. They didn't treat this game as seriously as they should have. What can he (Wenger) say now?
So, what's next???
